Okay there’s some things going through my mind. Chances that Joost will join us are a tad small, but are there. I’d say 10%.

Victor was interested in joining us but he’s a very busy boy at the moment.

So who to go with? To go alone, with 2 people or with a group both has advantages and disatvanges:

Alone

Advantages:

- You decide.

Disadvantages:
- You are terribly, alone.

With 2 people

Advantages:

- Got some-one to talk to.
- One does the costs, other the route.
- Safer.

Disadvantages:
- None.

With a group

Advantages:

- Very Safe.
- You can share more information and talk more.
- Way more exciting to get a group there instead of one or 2 people.

Disadvantages:

- When deciding you will discuss longer. The more people the more opinions.
- Bigger chances on bad luck
- More difficult to find a couchsurf place.

So I guess going alone is just, not cool. Going with one friend is perfect. Going with a group has some advantages but you’ve got to handle the disadvantages very seriously.

A second item that’s on my mind currently is the goal. If you plan to go 150 km/day and plan to go on 2 days you could go to CITY A which is 150 km away and go back, or go to City B which is 300 km away and go back by train. It seems lame but you do the same distance and see twice as much. Going back is only a formality anyway.

So where to go? Just go to the Polish border and cross it a bit and hurry to get back? or go all the way in Poland and take a train back? I’ve created a poll about it.. please cast your vote. Thank you!
